When I was in 5th grade, our family decided to get a new kitten. 

Snowball has been my best friend, my confidant, my pride and joy, ever since (that’s 8 years!).

Everyone who’s met her loves her. Strangers who see her picture say that she is one of the cutest cats they’ve ever seen. She’s got a good temperment, she’s gentle, kind, mellow. If you get her trust, she’ll follow you around like a dog. She’s travelled across the Atlantic, lived in three houses, stood up to a bear, lived with two dogs over three times her size, and yet she’s only halfway through life.

She’s gotten sick. Her heart isn’t pumping enough blood to her body and she can’t breathe well. There’s treatments available, but they cost about $2000 all together. I really need help. I can’t say goodbye to this beauty, not yet. She’s only halfway through her life, she’s got so much more to do and see.
